Operational System

 

Adopted method is System of Rice Intensification (SRI). SRI is an innovative paddy cultivation method attaining high paddy yield (7-10 t / ha) with lower resource utilization of such inputs as water and fertilizer. The basic concepts of SRI are: (a) a unique transplanting method using young seedling with wide spacing, and (b) water management by intermittent irrigation (no standing water). 

 

Step of Cultivation

 

Producing non chemical fertilizer rice in first and second year. Third year and the next years will produce organic rice.

 

Location to be Priority

 

Having transportation access and potential area to be developed as an Organic Training Center and Agro Tourism.

 

First Priority        : District region of Jembrana, Bali Province.

Second Priority    : Jagabita Village and Jagabaya Village, 

                            District region of Parungpanjang, Bogor-West Java

 

Target of Completion

 

Intensification dry land from the first harvest to the second or third harvest a year or to increase production of semi irrigation land.
